Book adoptions are a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one or to commemorate a special event. They make a special thank you gift.
Choose a book title from the library's collection or we will choose one for you based on your specifications. We will send you or your designated recipient a certificate acknowledging the adoption and place a bookplate inside the book with your name, the recipient’s name, and any additional information or personal message you desire.
Buying books through our affiliate shop raises money for our local library and supports all their wonderful programming and resources like museum passes, guest speakers, arts and crafts, etc.

Donate your used books in our bins at Shaw's parking lot on South Main St. (across from Kindercare) EXCEPT during Book Sale Collection April 29-May 14, 2024 - then bring books to the SPL Community Room.
